Trump Teases 'Irrefutable' Evidence Of Georgia Presidential Election Fraud After 4th Indictment: 'Will Be Presented By Me On Monday'

Former President Donald Trump pledged to reveal “irrefutable” evidence next week to counter a new Georgia indictment.

What Happened: Trump, on his social media platform Truth Social, said that he would present a report next week that will irrefutably prove his innocence in a new indictment by a Georgia grand jury.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis on Monday revealed that Trump and 18 of his associates were indicted on 41 charges, including violation of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act.

The accusations are linked to alleged attempts by Trump and his team to overturn President Joe Biden’s 2020 victory in Georgia. This is the fourth indictment Trump has faced this year, all of which he has denied and pleaded not guilty to.

Trump stated in a post on Truth Social on Tuesday that he will share a report on the “Presidential Election Fraud which took place in Georgia” during a news conference next Monday in Bedminster, New Jersey.

“A Large, Complex, Detailed but Irrefutable REPORT on the Presidential Election Fraud which took place in Georgia is almost complete & will be presented by me at a major News Conference at 11:00 A.M. on Monday of next week in Bedminster, New Jersey,” he wrote.

The most severe charge against Trump in the Georgia probe is a violation of the state’s RICO Act. Violating the act in Georgia carries a minimum custodial sentence of five years and a maximum of 20 years.

Why It Matters: Former President and his 18 associates have been criminally charged in Georgia. This development adds more complications to Trump’s potential 2024 election bid. The former President and his associates have been ordered to surrender in Georgia by Aug. 25, with the District Attorney aiming to try all defendants within the next half year.

The former president has labeled the District Attorney of bias and interference with the 2024 presidential race, referring to the indictment as a continuation of a "witch hunt."
