MrBeast Gives Shoutout To A Fan Who Predicted His Riveting Success 8 Years Ago

Popular YouTube personality Jimmy Donaldson, more commonly known as MrBeast, has acknowledged a fan’s farsighted comment from eight years ago, drawing attention to the mysterious user’s early recognition of his success as he celebrates a significant milestone of 200 million subscribers on his main channel.

What Happened: On Monday, MrBeast took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a screenshot of an astute comment from a user with the handle name @CampingMasters, posted initially eight years ago on one of his early YouTube videos.

The comment, “you are actually going to be a really big youtuber like I can see you be with all those big youtube events and stuff,” seemed like a bold prediction at the time.

The interaction didn’t end with the fan’s prediction. MrBeast, in a characteristically humble manner, replied with a simple, “Camping Masters aww, don’t make me blush xD.”

Little did they know this exchange would become a piece of YouTube history.

Fast forward to today, and MrBeast stands as one of the platform’s most celebrated content creators, boasting 200 million subscribers.

This achievement positions him as the world’s second most popular YouTube channel, just behind India’s T-Series, which currently has 251 million subscribers.

The heartwarming acknowledgment of @CampingMasters’ foresight sparked a wave of support from fans eager to see the mysterious commenter recognized for their early belief in the YouTube sensation.

Comments flooded in, suggesting that MrBeast should reward this fan with everything from a Lamborghini to a high-dollar challenge.

Why It’s Important: For the unversed, Donaldson ventured into the world of YouTube at the tender age of 13. He started his YouTube journey in 2012 but got a breakthrough in 2015 and 2016 after facing multiple failures.

Last November, Donaldson gained his 112 millionth subscriber, pushing him above PewDiePie to become the most-subscribed YouTuber. The Swedish creator, whose real name is Felix Kjellberg, had 111 million subscribers at the time.
