DryShips Inc (NASDAQ: DRYS) reported downbeat quarterly profit. DryShips posted a Q2 net loss of $114.1 million, or $0.33 per share, versus a profit of $19.5 million, or $0.07 per share, in the year-ago period. Excluding items, DryShips earned $0.04 per share. Its revenue came in at $224 million. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.17 per share on revenue of $258.37 million. DryShips shares dipped 11.67% to $2.80 in the after-hours trading session.

Analysts are expecting Brown Forman Inc (NYSE: BF-B) to have earned $0.83 per share on revenue of $725.41 million in the fiscal first quarter. Brown Forman shares rose 0.15% to close at $73.48 yesterday.

PVH Corp (NYSE: PVH) posted upbeat quarterly profit and lifted its full-year forecast. PVH reported its quarterly earnings of $66.7 million, or $0.92 per share, versus a loss of $70.6 million, or $1.07 per share, in the year-ago period. Excluding items, PVH earned $1.07 per share. Its sales climbed 21% to $1.33 billion. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.95 per share on revenue of $1.28 billion. The company projects earnings of $5.00 to $5.12 per share on an adjusted basis in the full year, versus analysts' estimates of $4.98 per share. PVH shares surged 2.70% to $66.65 in the after-hours trading session.

Analysts expect Zumiez Inc (NASDAQ: ZUMZ) to report its Q2 EPS at $0.05 on revenue of $112.18 million. ZUMZ shares dropped 1.13% to close at $19.28 yesterday.
