FactSet Research Systems Inc (NYSE: FDS) reported a rise in its second-quarter profit. FactSet's quarterly profit surged to $46.7 million, or $1.02 per share, versus $45.3 million, or $0.95 per share, in the year-earlier period. Its adjusted profit came in at $1.14 per share. FactSet's revenue gained 12% to $199.4 million. However, analysts were expecting a profit of $1 per share on revenue of $198.2 million. FactSet projects Q3 adjusted profit of $1.14 to $1.16 per share, versus analysts' estimates of $1.03 per share.

VimpelCom Ltd (NYSE: VIP) swung to a fourth-quarter loss. VimpelCom posted a quarterly loss of $386 million, or $0.24 per share, versus a year-ago profit of $461 million, or $0.34 per share. Its revenue jumped to $5.88 billion from $2.82 billion. VimpelCom's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) dropped 2.9% to $2.2 billion. Its total subscribers surged to 205 million.

Ebix Inc (NASDAQ: EBIX) posted stronger-than-expected Q4 results. Ebix's quarterly net income climbed to $17.3 million, or $0.44 per share, from $15.9 million, or $0.42 per share, in the year-ago period. Its revenue surged 26% to $44.1 million. Analysts were expecting earnings of $0.41 per share on revenue of $43.3 million.

ADA-ES Inc (NASDAQ: ADES) reported its Q4 EPS at $1.53 on revenue of $24.60 million. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.71 per share on revenue of $9.09 million.

Broadwind Energy Inc (NASDAQ: BWEN) reported a Q4 loss at $0.04 per share on revenue of $55.1 million. However, analysts were expecting a loss of $0.01 per share on revenue of $50.54 million.

Porsche Automobil Holding SE's (OTC: POAHY) sportscar unit reported a 22% rise in its 2011 operating profit. Its operating profit surged to EUR2.05 billion. Porsche's global car sales climbed 21% y/y to 116,978 vehicles in 2011. Its revenue jumped 18% to EUR10.9 billion.

G4S Plc (OTC: GFSZY) posted a 2% gain in its full-year profit. G4S' profit before interest, tax and amortisation (PBITA) rose to 531 million pounds ($829.13 million), versus 520 million in 2010. Its revenue climbed 4.7% to 7.52 billion pounds.

Prudential PLC (NYSE: PUK) posted a 7% surge in its 2011 operating profit. Prudential's operating profit climbed to GBP2.07 billion, versus GBP1.94 billion in 2010, beating analysts' estimates of GBP1.99 billion. Its insurance sales on an annualized premium equivalent basis gained 6% to GBP3.68 billion, from GBP3.48 billion. Prudential declared a full-year dividend of 25.19 pence per share, up from 23.85 pence per share and versus analysts' estimates of 25.16 pence per share.

Antofagasta PLC (OTC: ANFGY) reported a rise in its profit in 2011. Antofagasta's net profit climbed to $1.24 billion, from $1.05 billion in 2010. However, analysts were expecting a net profit of $1.29 billion. Its sales surged 33% to $6.08 billion. Antofagasta's earnings before interest, taxes depreciation and amortization jumped 32% to $3.66 billion, versus analysts' estimates of $3.68 billion.
