Another Financial Giant Reporting Earnings This Week: What Can Investors Expect?
- BlackRock, Inc. (NYSE: BLK) is also scheduled to announce its fourth quarter fiscal 2015 financial results before the market opens on Friday.

BlackRock has been a solid outperformer over the past couple of years, surpassing the Street's estimates in all of the last eight quarters.
In the fourth quarter last year, the company delivered earnings of $4.82 per share on revenue of $2.784 billion. For the current quarter, the Street is modeling a slight decline in earnings, to $4.79 per share, on a small increase in revenue, to $2.851 billion. Keep in mind that not once in the past couple of years had BlackRock not beat experts' consensus expectations.

The crowd is modeling consensus earnings of $4.89 per share on revenue of $2.885 billion.
Interestingly, expectations now stand at their lowest. However, the most bearish of the scenarios here still implies pretty robust results.
