Juniper Acquires Altor Networks (JNPR)

J.P. Morgan published an alert today on Juniper Networks (NYSE: JNPR) after JNPR announced its acquisition of Altor Networks.

In an alert sent to clients, J.P. Morgan writes, "Juniper acquired Altor for $95m in cash. We note
that Juniper has $2.1bn in cash and short term investments on its balance sheet as of Q3'10. No historical sales information was disclosed."

J.P. Morgan maintains its Overweight rating on JNPR.

JNPR closed yesterday at $34.15.
