European Markets Close Mostly Lower, Euro Recovers

European markets are now closed. Stock markets across Europe performed as follows:

The U.K. FTSE fell 0.1%.

The German DAX was flat.

The French CAC fell 0.4%.

The Spanish IBEX fell 0.4%.

The Portuguese PSI was flat.

The euro is higher versus the dollar by 0.63% to 1.2836. The euro fell almost 4% last week, its largest weekly drop since the week of May 9.
