Watson Pharmaceuticals (WPI) Reports $56.9 Million Profit

Watson Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NYSE: WPI) on Tuesday reported a 4th quarter profit of $56.9 million, or 51 cents per share, up from $56.4 million, or 50 cents per share, a year earlier.

On an adjusted cash basis, Watson Pharmaceuticals' profit was 85 cents per share, while net revenue rose 22% to $786 million.

A FactSet Research survey of analysts showed an average expected profit of 75 cents per share, on sales of $723 million.
