Jeff Weiner, the CEO of professional social network site LinkedIn (NYSE: LNKD), appeared on CNBC Friday morning, and stated that mobile ads do not eat into the site's revenue stream.

"Asia-Pacific is our fastest growing region," he said. "In terms of the the dynamic, people turn to LinkedIn when the economy is difficult."

Weiner was also asked who he fears and what is LinkedIn's closest competitor. "I think we're unique," he said. "We play our own game."
