Fund Manager Recommends High Quality Bonds: CNBC
President of James Advantage Funds, Barry James, has advised investors to liquidate their stock positions and invest in bonds. In an interview with CNBC, he said, “The market’s been in a topping phase since January and there’s still way too much bullishness in the market—36 percent more bulls than bears.”
James also said that his fund had been cutting its exposure to equities. He said, “We’re trying to find ways to protect capital right now, instead of looking to deploy it.”He said that investors should look into high quality bonds. According to him, the economy is not having a robust rebound.
