South Korean Stocks End Monday Down 0.26% (EWY)
The Korean stock market opened Monday trading in negative territory and remained there for most of the trading day.
The Korea Composite Stock Price Index opened at 2,082.29, which was slightly below the previous trading day's close at 2,086.20.
The KOSPI ended the Monday trading session down 5.39 points, or 0.26%, at 2,080.81.
The KOSPI moved in a range between 2,069.30 and 2,088.64.
Investors who would like to invest in South Korean equities might want to consider the iShares MSCI South Korea Index (NYSE: EWY), which seeks to provide investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of publicly traded securities in the South Korean markets, as measured by the MSCI South Korea index.
