Magic Johnson To Serve On Square's Board
Retired basketball legend Earvin "Magic" Johnson Jr. will join Square’s Board of Directors this summer, according to a press release issued Wednesday.
Square is a company aimed at helping businesses of all sizes access to the same tools that big companies have. It was founded by Jim McKelvey and Twitter Inc (NYSE: TWTR)’s Jack Dorsey.
Dorsey is not only the co-founder, but also the CEO at Square. He is now serving as the interim CEO at Twitter, another company he co-founded, filling in for former CEO Dick Costolo, who resigned last week.
