Apple iPhone 15, New Watch, Carbon Neutral Products: Everything Apple Just Announced

Apple Inc (NASDAQ: AAPL) announced a plethora of products and features at the Wonderlust event on Tuesday. From revamped AirPods Pro to carbon-neutral Apple Watches and a new lineup of iPhones, here’s a rundown of all the announcements.

AirPods Pro (2nd generation)

• Charging and Convenience: The case now has USB‑C and MagSafe charging capabilities, meaning users can use one cable to charge multiple Apple devices. The iPhone 15 series — also with USB-C port — can directly charge the AirPods.
• Performance and Experience: Double the Active Noise Cancellation, a more advanced Transparency mode, immersive Spatial Audio and a broader range of ear tip sizes.
• New Features: The new AirPods will be dust resistant and support Lossless Audio with Apple Vision Pro. Plus, with iOS 17, they’ll offer Adaptive Audio and Conversation Awareness.

Apple's Environmental Milestone: Carbon Neutral Products

• Carbon Reduction: Over 75% reduction in product emissions for each carbon-neutral Apple Watch.
• Apple 2030 Goal: The tech giant aims to make all its products carbon neutral by 2030.
• Eco-friendly Steps: Apple is moving away from leather, introducing fiber-based packaging for the Apple Watch lineup and promoting the use of recycled materials in iPhones.

Apple Watch Series 9 & Apple Watch Ultra 2

• Performance: Powered by the new S9 SiP, the Apple Watch Series 9 offers faster on-device Siri with health data logging and a brighter display.
• Features: Double tap gesture, Precision Finding for iPhone, redesigned apps, new watch faces and a set of new cycling and hiking tools.

The new iPhone features:

• Design: An industry-first color-infused back glass with a textured matte finish and a new contoured edge.
• Camera: A 48MP Main camera, 2x Telephoto option and the next generation of portraits.
• Innovations: Features like Roadside Assistance via satellite, A16 Bionic chip, a USB‑C connector and Precision Finding.
• Colors: Pink, yellow, green, blue and black.

iPhone 15 Pro & iPhone 15 Pro Max

• Material & Design: Apple’s lightest Pro models, made with aerospace-grade titanium. Also has a new Action button.
• Camera: Seven pro lenses equivalent camera system, advanced 48MP Main camera and a 5x Telephoto camera for the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
• Performance: A17 Pro chip for gaming and professional use, and the new USB‑C connector offers speeds up to 20x faster than USB 2.
• Finishes: Black titanium, white titanium, blue titanium and natural titanium.
