Shares have steadily climbed throughout the day as the company announced that it expects its first-quarter forecast to come in better than estimates, changing its anticipated revenue forecast from $9.25 million to $10.4 million. The stock is at a three-year high.

2) Advanced Battery Technologies (NASDAQ: ABAT): After starting out the day in negative territory, shares have skyrocketed nearly 21% to $2.50. Earlier this morning the company refuted a negative report published by a short seller going by “Variant View Research.” The equity had traded as low as $1.51 in yesterday's session.

3) Silicon Motion Technology (NASDAQ: SIMO): Stock is surging 17.8% to $9.32 after being initiated with a buy at Craig-Hallum, setting a new 52-week high of $9.70. The price target is set at $12.

3) Cheniere Energy (NYSE: LNG): Stock is undergoing a 8.6% swan dive to $8.49 as heavy selling pressure started mounting at 10:35 a.m. EST.

4) Puda Coal (NYSE: PUDA): This stock also started the day out in positive territory but has sustained heavy losses trading down 8% to $9.90. Selling began to build at just before 10 a.m. EST. Shares have already traded nearly five times normal daily volume.

5) Mad Catz Interactive (NYSE: MCZ): Stock in this videogame peripheral manufacturer have been building losses throughout the day, currently down 7.3% to $2.16.
