iPod Refreshed As Facetime Moves In To The Market
Apple, Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) is hosting a special event on September 1st where Steve Jobs is expected to refresh the iPod lineup and possibly elude to new features in Apple TV deals, according to Deutsche Bank.
The lineup is anticipated to bring capacity upgrades and new functionality, and the new iPod Touch is expected to feature multiple cameras and be Facetime enabled while the nano/shuffle could have a touch screen. Deutsche Bank is expecting September 2010 to yield the sale of 9.5M iPods.
Deutsche Bank believes that Apple is aware of power of networks and is applying the concept to accelerate the adoption of its platform.
Deutsche Bank reiterates its Buy rating and $375 price target.
Apple, Inc. closed yesterday at $241.62.
